This app is fantastic! Its great for beginners and advanced sudoku players alike - you control the the amount of help that the app provides. I love the ability to scan a puzzle in, using the camera - I no longer need to have a pencil and paper at hand when working on puzzles. Highly recommend!
As a sudoku addict, I long ago learned that Andrew Stuarts web site was the most useful for understanding simple to complex strategies. I was excited to find his app to be even better. I love using the camera feature when I hit a tough spot on a print puzzle. (One suggestion - there could be clearer instructions about how the app functions.) Im looking forward to the iPad version.
This app is a great educational tool, especially if you want to learn the various Sudoku strategies. My father is a Sudoku enthusiast. The app is a great way for him and me to spend some quality time together over the phone, as I use the app to help him when he gets stuck. By the way, my Dad is 90.
Now app crashes when resuming a saved favorite from last save point. Still the Best app Ive seen for Sudoku. Well worth the money. Excellent app for novices and experts alike. Andrew Stuart is a master and does a great job of explaining w/ examples. The camera input is a nice feature although less than perfect.
This is a great step by step solver. When you get stuck on a puzzle, it identifies the next logical step. You can proceed on your own or continue letting the solver go step by step. Ive used the website version for quite a while. This is the same logic, but works offline on your mobile device. Thanks for releasing the mobile version.
